The auditable record: how every Read Write X manuscript stays defensible.

Inside the disclosure file we ship alongside every project — what it contains, why committees and publishers care, and how it protects an author's name.

Every project we complete leaves with two deliverables: the manuscript, and the record of how it was made. The second one is the one nobody asks about until they urgently need it.

What's in the file

A map of contribution — where the author drafted, where the assistant helped, and where a human editor intervened. A log of every AI-assisted passage and the review it passed. And a verification ledger for sources, showing what was checked, by whom, and against what. Together they answer the only question that matters when integrity is challenged: can you show your work?

Committees care because disclosure is increasingly required. Publishers care because their reputation rides on the author's. And authors come to care most of all — because the file is what lets them say “yes, I used these tools, and here is exactly how,” without flinching.
